Hey Guy's: I may be over since I got the XJ running yesterday it’s just a little rough at low to mid RPM’s, had a 1/8 of steal gas from August, put some dry gas in and filled it up, I’ll see what happens, I have a new filter in the back to change out if needed………..

Shit, just got back it’s backfiring on the exhaust side with a slow even throttle two to three times, every acceleration from a stop. What do you think fuel or the new EGR valve?

Bill that sucks doesn’t it, I hate working outside up here since I have a well equipped air conditioned shop at home……….

The snow is coming down now……….

Bronco, just think that I use too fly from home too Steamboat Spring to play in the snow, a buddy out there has a sixties vintage Haglin Snowcat with a stroked LS1……….

I am probably out.Although I have the Jeep back running and have been out playing in the snow.I think the drive down and back would be a bitch.the wheeling would be good but I think I am out.We will hit the next one.

Had the Jeep stuck in the driveway for a half hour today trying to back out, then got stuck two more times in some deep stuff. So I doubt I'll be there tmr.

No kiddin, I got into my driveway with the snow fine, then dad came over to grade it with the tractor, I was stuck on flat ground where my tires were warm enough to melt the snow. The tractor is only 2wd and the tires arent loaded so even with chains it could pull me out, had to use the quads winch to get me

traction will only take you so far...after that you need momentum

No pics to prove it but Zak and I just got outselves dug out. 4 wheeler got stuck first in the driveway. Then we got the jeep stuck on flat ground. Took a break and went to play with the goats, they got stuck. The little one could barely move. After that we took the Sammi out and had to winch and pull for about an hour or so. All this was on mostly flat ground. Tomorrow is a terrible idea.

Once i shoveled the 3 feet of snow away from my doors that the plow truck was nice enough to push right up to my windows the tauras did pretty good. I bet they dont bury there own cars when they pass by!!!!

I didn't lose power thank god, but like 7000 peep did, Fabz had no power
and a few otheres around town. Cold houses!

It would have been miserable trail riding, it doesn't matter the tire size.... Maybe
Wimpy might have been able to move on 42s, but doubt it. There's just
no traction at all. 10" or so would be max... Anything over 6-7" would be hard as hell.

Smart for not going & holing up to watch the Pooper Bowl
was def the best decision.

we was out playing sat and sunday...

Wimpy's rig did ok but keeped sinking... just to heavy

The little sammie does pretty good as long keep moving until you come to anything that looks like a hill..
It stays on top of the snow, sinks just enough to see the pumpkins start to drag.

Its a different style of driving.. kind a like driving in sand.. if you let it spin more than 1/2 a tire revolution your stuck.
instead just back down and get another run at it.

The lead guy does all the work, he keeps going up and back to plow a trail.. everybody else just follows his tracks

Being light with wide tires and not enough power to spin all four at once helps alot.
